1. Upgrade

1.1 Upgrade | VDP Config

 

  1. Click browse next to the device that you want to upgrade , select the upgrade file and then click open.
  2. Click upgrade , configure upgrade parameters.
  3. In the upgrade type list , select the upgrade type.
  4. Select the Clear Config check box according to the actual situation.
  5. Click OK to start upgrading and displayed upgrade progress.
  6. After upgrade is completed , the device reboots automatically.
  7. If the upgrade fails, check the upgrade failure prompt, and if the user name or password is incorrect, change it before searching the device.

 

1.2 Upgrade | Serial port

  1. Find the serial port on the mainboard, and connect with serial convertor board.
  2. Right click Computer, select“Manage < Device Manager”to check the COM port.

 

  1. Login backstage of the VDP by SecureCRT.
  2. Set the connection as the left picture.

 

  1. Power the VTH, at the same time, keep holding the * on your keyboard. When there appears a series of ****. When you click enter, it comes hisilicon #. You can input instructions now.

 

  1. Click print to look over informations.

      set ipaddr VTH's IP    //modify VTH IP

      set gatewayip           //modify gateway

      set netmask 255.255.0.0  //modify subnet masks

      set serverip PC's IP  //modify server IP(your PC's IP address)

      saveenv               //save

  1. Open TFTP,choose firmware. your firmware file folder.

 

  1. Input below instructions in CRT

       run da  

       run up  

       when the CRT shows below interface,wait until the progress stop.

 

  1. Clear configuration

  1. Login backstage of the VDP by SecureCRT.
  2. Set the connection as the left picture.

  1. Print the relevant information by typing print
  2. Change the values of dh_keyboard and appauto to 0

       set dh_keyboard 0

       set appauto 0

       saveenv

  1. Enter boot to restart, because after appauto is changed to 0, the device will not start itself. Enter ii to start
  2. After the device is up, press enter if # appears and there is a line between the # Numbers, then directly input the shell, and then input the work number and scan the qr code to enter;If Username and password appear, enter the corresponding user password first, typically admin, and then enter the shell
  3. Input rm/mnt/mtd /* -rf;rm/mnt /backup/* -rf clear the configuration. After the configuration is clear, remember to change the values of dh_keyboard and appauto back to 1.Can be modified directly in the inside, also can enter boot modification through power off mode

 

  1. Print log

SSH of the device must be Enable. Intercom device can open SSH on the interface. Access control device needs to visit 

http://IP/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=setConfig&SSHD.Enable=true to turn on. http://IP/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=setConfig&SSHD.Enable=false to turn off. And after turning on and off, the device needs to be restarted.

 Open the CRT software and create a new connection

 

You’d better login in LAN, for WAN will have port mapping problem.

 

Input the username and password

username: admin

password: 7ujMko0+web password

For example: admin/7ujMko0admin123

 

Select “Options > Session Options”

1. Choose “VT100” 

2. Enable “ANSI Color”

 

Select “Options > Session Options > Appearance”

1. Choose “UTF-8” 

2. Click “OK”

 

 

Click "file" → "session log" → select the directory where the log is saved and set the log file name

 

  1. Input “dh_keyboard 0”, start printing


  1. Enter “printcli” view log to start printing (screen scroll)

 

After the problem reappears, close the CRT and enter the CRT again,Input “dh_keyboard 1” close the print.

Restart the device

 

  1. Capture package

Install NFS Server

1. Select “Export”

2. Click “Edit export file”, and delete all the –readonly  and save.

 

Rigth click “Computer < Manage < Service and Applications < Service

Click “Restart”.

 

Restart Server

 

  

Create a new folder “public” in C disk

1. Select “Advanced Sharing”

2. Select “Permissions”

3. Add a permission of Everyone with Full Control 

 

1. Copy the tcpdump file into folder public.

Ask R&D for the tcpdump file.

2. Login backstage of the VDP by SecureCRT. 

The picture show left is by telnet. For SSH you can refer Chapter 2.

 

Input the command:

mount -t nfs -o nolock,tcp 10.18.118.20:/c/public /home

10.18.118.20--IP of equipment

/c/public—share folder path

Execute permission: chmod 777 tcpdump

Begin package capture: ./tcpdump -i eth0 -w filter.pcap -s 0

Reproduce the problem and copy the filter.pcap file in folder public.
