【2】Description of the problem

When we use the PFM906, there may be some problems that cannot be opened or used by the application. In this case, it can be solved by upgrading the application. However, if the application is significantly modified, the PFM906 system needs to be upgraded first. Based on the latest PFM906 operating system, delete the original application and reinstall it.

      Below we give an example of how to upgrade the operating system and reinstall the application if the "DH TEST TOOL" application cannot be opened.

(Note: The order of the upgrades is important and cannot be confusing.)

Root Cause: the version of app can’t compatible with the version of the system.

【4】Solution

4-1 Precondition

  • PFM906(Must have connected to the internet)

4-2 Step by Step Instructions

(1)  Connect the device to WIFI or wired network and click on the screen:[Update] -->[Application Update]-->[Online Update].Look for the latest version of [Application Update] on this interface, and automatically exit after the installation is complete.(The latest version as of 2019/3 is V01.00 20). If your device has not been upgraded for a long time, you may need to upgrade several times until the latest version.

(2) After upgrading [Application Update] to the latest version, click on the main interface: [Update] -->[Application Update]-->[System Update].

Click the file "K2TNCHDVB" to update the system. After the update is complete, you need to restart the system.

(3)After upgrading to the latest system, you need to uninstall the original application, the path is as follows:[Setting]-->[Version Information]-->[DH TEST TOOL], Long press the app to uninstall

(4) After the uninstallation is complete, click on the main interface again: [Update] -->[Application Update]-->[Online Update]. Discover and click on "DH TEST TOOL" to install

(5) After the installation is complete, open "DH TEST TOOL" and it will be used normally.
