Considering of Dahua VDP devices are switching to SIP2.0 solution, a lot of customers doesn’t have instruction of setting up the devices.

Due to the limited ability of VTO (System volume is 200VTH+10VTO+1VTS) , this solution is usually used in small apartment scenario.

【3】Basic concepts of system

  • SIP Server: Provides all services in SIP2.0 system, every device will be marked by SIP ID, in this case SIP Server is main VTO (VTO1210C-X).
  • Sub VTO: Usually used for second confirmation or open garage, in this case is VTO2111D
  • Master VTH: If one room has more than 1 VTH, there should be one master VTH, and others are Sub VTH, used for group call.
  • Sub VTH: Extensions of master VTH, all settings will copy from master VTH.
  • SIP ID: Used for marking devices in SIP2.0 system, here are examples for VTO and VTH.

VTO: XXXX, XXXX means VTO No.

Note: For SIP2.0 system, no matter how many VTH is used in one room, the first VTH(Master VTH)’s SIP ID must be YYY#0, and for extensions, it will be YYY#1/2/3…
