How to download record


Function introduction:

Download center provides 3 types of download modes, including timeline, record list and tag. You can pause, delete downloaded record.


Step by Step Instructions:


 Step1. Login PRO Client, click “Download Center” to enter download center module.

Step2. Select channel, storage location and date to search the video.

1) Select the channel on the left. You can choose one or several channels at the same time.

2) Select the storage location. Choose “Record direct to server” to search the video storage on server, choose “Record direct to recorder” to search the video storage on the NVR or other local storage devices.

3) Select time to search. Click to open calendar. If the selected day has a video, you can see a blue dot on date. Click search.

Then, you can download the video by 3 different ways according to need.

For timeline cut

Step3.Here shows the search result under Timeline.

1) mouse to timeline, you can see a small pair of scissors. Click timeline to select start time and end time, then in system pop-up prompt box, confirm the selected time range.

2)  Select record storage format. There are 5 formats: dav, avi, mp4, flv and asf. Please select accordingly.

3) Confirm download info and click OK to start downloading.

4) Progress of download is shown below.

Click to pause the downloading task.

click to delete the downloading task.


For File record

Step3. In search result, click File tab to show the record file.

1) You can check more than one record file to download at the same time. Click Download selected file button to batch download, or click corresponding download button of a file to download this file.

2) Progress of downloading record is shown below.

Click to pause the downloading task.

Click  to delete the downloading task.


For tag record

Step3. In search result, click Tag tab to show the tagged file.

1) You can check several record files to download at the same time.

2) Click Download button to batch download, or you can click corresponding download button of a record file.

3) A prompt box pops up, select length of tagged record you want to download and select record format. Then click OK.

4) Progress of downloading record is shown below.

Click to pause the downloading task.

Click  to delete the downloading task.


Step4.After the record downloaded, Click Downloaded. The records list here.

Click to locate the location on your computer.

Step5.All downloaded records show here.

   Note: the default record path is “C:\DSS Pro\Client\Record\”, you can customize the path.

1) Login client, click to open local config interface.

2) Click Recordà Browse to change the record path.then click Save.

3) You also can select the Record Name format as you need.
