How to add user

Function introduction:

For user management, DSS Pro manages the user permission via role.

DSS Pro provide two default roles Administrator and Operator, administrator has all permissions of DSS Pro. User with operator role only can access control client.

Step-by-step instructions:

Part1.Add Role
Step1. Login into the DSS pro web manager, choose “User” interface, click “Role”, then click “Add” to pop up “add role” interface.

Step2.Enter the role name. Choose the “Device permissions” and “control permissons” for this role. Then click “OK” to create the role.


Part2.Add User

Step1. Login into the DSS pro web manager, choose “User” interface, click “User”, then click “Add” to pop up “add user” interface.

Step2. Configure “User Name”, “Password”, “Confirm Password”, “Expiry(Days)”, “Email Address ”,and so on.

Step3.Check the roles below, then Device Permission and Control Permission of the corresponding roles will display on the right.

Step4.End by OK.

Step5.The new user will be in the list of users.
